Kudiraipanjan Estate
Grapefruit, Blackcurrant, Floral, Black tea
The PKC Kudiraipanjan estate high up in the Shevaroy hills in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu. The Kudiraipanjan Estate was established in 1878 by the British and was acquired by the PKC family in 1975. Now run by their third generation, coffee at the Kudiraipanjan estate is grown alongside pepper, oranges, avocados etc. with tiers of shades provided by the Silver Oak, Dadup, and the native forest trees.
This black honey process is roasted a medium roast to sweeten the lovely grapefruit acidity, and notes of black raisins. The coffee has a lovely floral aroma and has a subtle tea like flavour.
